Lorine Zeineb Nora Talhaoui (born October 16, 1983), better known by her stage name Loreen (Swedish: [lɔˈreːn]), is a renowned Swedish singer and songwriter. She gained international fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest twice, representing Sweden with the songs "Euphoria" in 2012 and "Tattoo" in 2023. Loreen is the second artist ever to win Eurovision twice and the first woman to achieve this feat, following in the footsteps of Johnny Logan.
Loreen's musical journey began with her participation in the Idol 2004 TV competition, where she finished in fourth place. In 2005, she released her debut single "The Snake" in collaboration with the band Rob'n'Raz and later became a television presenter for TV400. While building her career behind the scenes as a segment producer and director for various Swedish reality TV shows, she made a strong comeback in the music scene by entering Melodifestivalen 2011 with "My Heart Is Refusing Me," which became a top 10 hit in Sweden. She continued her success with two more top 20 hits in Sweden: "Crying Out Your Name" in 2012 and her Melodifestivalen 2017 entry "Statements."
