The Sugababes are an English girl group originally formed in 1998, consisting of members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy. Known for their evolving lineup, the group went through several member changes before returning to its original formation in 2011.Managed by Ron Tom, who also worked with All Saints, the Sugababes released their debut album *One Touch* in 2000, which featured the hit single "Overload." In 2001, Donaghy left and was replaced by Heidi Range, marking the start of the group’s most commercially successful era. With Range, the Sugababes released three multi-platinum albums: *Angels with Dirty Faces* (2002), *Three* (2003), and *Taller in More Ways* (2005). Following Buena's departure in 2005, Amelle Berrabah joined the group. During this period, they released albums such as *Change* (2007) and *Catfights and Spotlights* (2008).In 2009, Buchanan, the last original member, was replaced by Jade Ewen. After releasing *Sweet 7* in 2010, the group signed with RCA Records but went on hiatus in 2011. That same year, the original trio reformed under the name Mutya Keisha Siobhán, releasing the single "Flatline." They reclaimed the Sugababes name in 2019 and celebrated the 20th anniversary of *One Touch* with a re-release in 2021. In 2022, they released *The Lost Tapes*, an album of previously unreleased tracks.Over their career, the Sugababes achieved six UK number-one singles, including "Freak like Me," "Round Round," "Hole in the Head," "Push the Button," "Walk This Way," and "About You Now." They rank second only to the Spice Girls in terms of UK number-one singles by a British girl group. The Sugababes also have five top-ten UK albums, with four achieving platinum certification. They have been nominated for six Brit Awards, winning Best British Dance Act in 2003, and have frequently made headlines due to lineup changes and rumors of internal conflict. -
