La Femme is a French psych-punk rock band, formed in 2010 in Biarritz by guitarist Sacha Got and keyboardist Marlon Magnée. The group later expanded to include members such as former lead vocalist Clémence Quélennec (active until 2019), bassist Sam Lefevre, drummer Noé Delmas, and Lucas Nunez. Additional members include Clara Luciani, Jane Peynot, and Marilou Chollet.
Known for their synthetic and hypnotic sound, La Femme blends elements of cold wave, punk, and yéyé. Their music draws inspiration from iconic artists like Sparks, The Velvet Underground, and Kraftwerk.
Between 2010 and 2013, La Femme released three EPs: "La Femme EP," "La Podium #1," and "La Femme." Their debut full-length album, "Psycho Tropical Berlin," came out on April 8, 2013. The band received critical acclaim, winning the Victoires de la Musique award for "Album Revelation" in February 2014. On April 2, 2021, they released their third album, "Paradigmes," featuring several pre-released tracks.
