Eminem Tour Schedule
Eminem has climbed up so far on the success ladder, it’s hard to imagine a time when he wasn’t famous. In fact, his life’s work in music has gotten him so far that he’s been named as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone. Eminem’s concerts are known to always sell out, and fans have stated that they’ve never been disappointed at one of his shows. He brings his A-game every time, and that’s what makes his fans love him. Currently, Eminem doesn’t have any shows lined up for the rest of the year. He has yet to announce any shows for 2019.
Eminem Background
Eminem is cleverly named so based on the fact that his real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers. He was born in 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Eminem had a troubled childhood, experiencing poverty, constant relocation, and the suicide of his mentor. He became interested in rap and joined a group while he was still in high school. Although he eventually dropped out of school, he continued his rapping ventures with a group called the Dirty Dozen.
Eminem eventually left the group and worked odd jobs to support his small family. He released the Slim Shady EP, which didn’t really take off until he competed in the 1997 Rap Olympics. He placed second and was noticed by Dr. Dre. Once Eminem started working with Dr. Dre, his career blew up considerably.
Eminem’s Greatest Hits
With someone as talented as Eminem, his list of great hits isn’t a short one. He’s received recognition for many of his tracks, including “Lose Yourself,” “The Real Slim Shady,” “Not Afraid,” “8 mile,” “Rap God,” and “Beautiful.” Eminem also holds records in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the fastest selling rap artist in 2000 and having the 21st century’s top-selling album act in 2010.
