      Andre Rieu Background

Andre Rieu was born in Maastricht, Netherlands in October of 1949. As his father was a musician, Andre was exposed to the ins and outs of music from a very young age. Rieu had success with orchestra throughout his time in university, and by the time he was out, he was ready to make his own orchestra group. So, he established his own group called the Johann Strauss Orchestra. With his group, he’s gone on to perform and conduct many successful performances.
