Train, a pop rock band from San Francisco, was formed in 1993 and currently consists of Pat Monahan, Taylor Locke, Hector Maldonado, Jerry Becker, Matt Musty, Sakai Smith, and Nikita Houston. The band achieved mainstream success with their debut album "Train" in 1998, which included the hit song "Meet Virginia." Their 2001 album, "Drops of Jupiter," won two Grammy Awards and was certified double platinum. Train's third studio album, "My Private Nation," released in 2003, was certified platinum in the United States with the hit "Calling All Angels." Following the departures of some members, the band released their fourth album, "For Me, It's You," in 2006, which was not as successful as their previous albums. After a two-year hiatus, Train released "Save Me, San Francisco" in 2009, which included the hit songs "Hey, Soul Sister," "If It's Love," and "Marry Me." Train has sold over 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide.
