Tyler Gregory Okonma, professionally known as Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper, producer, director, and fashion designer, born on March 6, 1991. He emerged as a leading force in alternative hip hop throughout the 2010s and is widely regarded as a pivotal influence in the genre. Rising to prominence in the late 2000s, Okonma became known as the co-founder and frontman of the music collective Odd Future, where he contributed as a rapper, producer, and director.
