Cynthia Ann Stephanie Lauper, born on June 22, 1953, is a prominent American singer, songwriter, actress, and activist with a career spanning more than four decades. Lauper made history with her debut album "She's So Unusual" in 1983, becoming the first female artist to achieve four top-five hits on the Billboard Hot 100. These included iconic songs like "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Time After Time", "She Bop", and "All Through the Night", leading to her winning the Best New Artist award at the 27th Annual Grammy Awards in 1985.Her musical success continued with hits like "True Colors" and "Change of Heart" from her second album "True Colors" (1986). Lauper's diverse career also includes notable achievements in blues with "Memphis Blues" (2010), which topped the Billboard Blues Albums chart for 13 consecutive weeks. Lorine Zeineb Nora Talhaoui (born October 16, 1983), better known by her stage name Loreen (Swedish: [lÉËreËn]), is a renowned Swedish singer and songwriter. She gained international fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest twice, representing Sweden with the songs "Euphoria" in 2012 and "Tattoo" in 2023. Loreen is the second artist ever to win Eurovision twice and the first woman to achieve this feat, following in the footsteps of Johnny Logan.Loreen's musical journey began with her participation in the Idol 2004 TV competition, where she finished in fourth place. In 2005, she released her debut single "The Snake" in collaboration with the band Rob'n'Raz and later became a television presenter for TV400. While building her career behind the scenes as a segment producer and director for various Swedish reality TV shows, she made a strong comeback in the music scene by entering Melodifestivalen 2011 with "My Heart Is Refusing Me," which became a top 10 hit in Sweden. She continued her success with two more top 20 hits in Sweden: "Crying Out Your Name" in 2012 and her Melodifestivalen 2017 entry "Statements." -

Godsmack, an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, was formed in 1995 and includes lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola, and drummer Shannon Larkin. Over their career, Godsmack has released a range of work, including eight studio albums, an EP titled *The Other Side*, four DVDs, a compilation album (*Good Times, Bad Times... Ten Years of Godsmack*), and a live album (*Live & Inspired*). The band achieved three consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 with *Faceless*, *IV*, and *The Oracle*. With an impressive 25 top-ten rock radio hits—18 of those reaching the top five and 12 climbing to #1—Godsmack has left a lasting impact on the rock scene. Their seventh album, *When Legends Rise*, debuted on April 27, 2018, and their eighth and final album, *Lighting Up the Sky*, was released on February 24, 2023. Throughout their journey, Godsmack has performed on major tours, including multiple appearances with Ozzfest, as well as headlining their own arena tours. To celebrate their achievements and the release of their sixth album, *1000hp*, the city of Boston declared August 6 as "Godsmack Day," in tribute to the band's influence and connection with their hometown.
