Maluma, full name - Juan Luis Londoño Arias, is a Colombian singer & songwriter. Juan was born and raised in Medellín, he developed an interest in music at a young age, and began recording songs at the age of 16. Maluma released his debut album, Magia, a year later in 2012. However, his breakthrough album was 2015's Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy, which led to successful collaborations with several artists. He released F.A.M.E. in 2018, to further commercial success. He followed it up with 11:11 in 2019, and Papi Juancho, released without further announcement in 2020. His single "Hawái" reached number three on the Billboard Global 200, and became the first number one single on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. With sales of over 18 million records (albums and singles), Maluma is one of the best-selling Latin music artists. Musically, Maluma's songs have been described as reggaeton, Latin trap, and pop.

Godsmack, an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, was formed in 1995 and includes lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola, and drummer Shannon Larkin. Over their career, Godsmack has released a range of work, including eight studio albums, an EP titled *The Other Side*, four DVDs, a compilation album (*Good Times, Bad Times... Ten Years of Godsmack*), and a live album (*Live & Inspired*). The band achieved three consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 with *Faceless*, *IV*, and *The Oracle*. With an impressive 25 top-ten rock radio hits—18 of those reaching the top five and 12 climbing to #1—Godsmack has left a lasting impact on the rock scene. Their seventh album, *When Legends Rise*, debuted on April 27, 2018, and their eighth and final album, *Lighting Up the Sky*, was released on February 24, 2023. Throughout their journey, Godsmack has performed on major tours, including multiple appearances with Ozzfest, as well as headlining their own arena tours. Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds – The New Generation is a 2012 concept album by Jeff Wayne and is a re-imagining of his 1978 concept album, retelling the story of The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells. As previously, the music format is predominantly progressive rock and string orchestra, but with synthesizers playing a more prominent role. The music is intermixed with re-voiced narration and leitmotifs to carry the story forward via rhyming melodic lyrics that express the feelings of the various characters.
Due to the consistent popularity of the original album, Wayne decided to return to his score and re-create it for a new generation of audiences, as well as re-launch a live tour throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
