Tyler Gregory Okonma, professionally known as Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper, producer, director, and fashion designer, born on March 6, 1991. He emerged as a leading force in alternative hip hop throughout the 2010s and is widely regarded as a pivotal influence in the genre. Rising to prominence in the late 2000s, Okonma became known as the co-founder and frontman of the music collective Odd Future, where he contributed as a rapper, producer, and director. He also starred in the group’s comedy series *Loiter Squad* (2012–2014). His solo journey began with the release of his debut mixtape, *Bastard* (2009), which drew attention within indie music circles. His first studio album, *Goblin* (2011), launched him into the mainstream, especially with the viral success of “Yonkers.” However, Okonma’s early work faced media controversy due to its horrorcore influences and intense lyrical themes. His sound evolved with his 2013 album, *Wolf*, as he shifted toward a fusion of jazz, soul, and R&B, distancing himself from horrorcore. This progression continued with *Flower Boy* (2017), followed by *Igor* (2019) and *Call Me If You Get Lost* (2021), both of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and earned Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. His seventh studio album, *Chromakopia*, was released on October 28, 2024. Beyond music, Okonma established himself in fashion with his brands Golf Wang and Le Fleur, along with partnerships with Lacoste, Converse, and Louis Vuitton. He founded the annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in 2012, attracting acts like Kanye West, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, and Billie Eilish. Under the alias Wolf Haley, he has directed all of his music and promotional videos. Okonma has won multiple awards, including two Grammys, three BET Hip Hop Awards, a BRIT Award, and an MTV Video Music Award. In 2019, *The Wall Street Journal* named him “Music Innovator of the Year,” and in 2024, the *Los Angeles Times* highlighted him as part of its "L.A. Influential" series for his cultural impact in the city.

Franz Ferdinand is a Scottish rock band that was formed in Glasgow in 2002. They are recognized as one of the leading bands in the post-punk revival movement, with multiple top 20 hits in the UK. Over the years, the band has received several Grammy nominations and has won two Brit Awards, including Best British Group, along with an NME Award.
The original lineup featured Alex Kapranos (lead vocals, lead guitar, keyboards), Nick McCarthy (rhythm guitar, keyboards, vocals), Bob Hardy (bass guitar, percussion), and Paul Thomson (drums, percussion, backing vocals). In 2017, Julian Corrie (keyboards, lead guitar, backing vocals) and Dino Bardot (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) joined the band after McCarthy's departure in 2016. Audrey Tait (drums, percussion) became part of the group in 2021 following Thomson's exit.
Franz Ferdinand's first single, "Darts of Pleasure," peaked at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart, just missing the Top 40. Their second single, "Take Me Out," marked their commercial breakthrough, reaching number three on the UK chart and receiving international recognition. This song became their signature hit and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Their debut album, *Franz Ferdinand*, released in 2004, won the prestigious Mercury Prize and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album.
In 2005, they released their second album, *You Could Have It So Much Better*, produced by Rich Costey. It achieved top-ten chart positions in multiple countries and garnered Grammy nominations for Best Alternative Album and the single "Do You Want To." Their third album, *Tonight: Franz Ferdinand*, released in January 2009, showcased a shift from their post-punk roots to a more dance-oriented sound. A remix album, *Blood*, followed in July 2009.
Four years later, in 2013, the band released their fourth album, *Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action*. In 2015, they collaborated with American rock band Sparks to form the supergroup FFS, releasing a self-titled album. After McCarthy's departure, they released their fifth album, *Always Ascending*, in February 2018.

Stereophonics, a Welsh rock band formed in 1992 in Cwmaman, Cynon Valley, have become one of the most iconic acts in British rock. The current lineup features Kelly Jones (lead vocals, lead guitar, keyboards), Richard Jones (bass guitar, harmonica, backing vocals), Adam Zindani (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Jamie Morrison (drums, percussion), and Tony Kirkham (keyboards) as a touring member. The group previously included Stuart Cable (1992–2003) and Javier Weyler (2004–2012) on drums. Over the years, Stereophonics have released twelve studio albums, with eight reaching number one in the UK. Their compilation album *Decade in the Sun* (2008) charted at number two on the UK Albums Chart.
Often described as having a "classic UK rock" sound with "whiskey vocals," Stereophonics blend alternative rock with a British traditional rock vibe. Their debut album, *Word Gets Around* (1997), peaked at number six in the UK and featured singles like "Local Boy in the Photograph" and "A Thousand Trees." They gained mainstream success with the release of *Performance and Cocktails* in 1999, driven by hit singles like "The Bartender and the Thief" and "Just Looking." The band scored ten top-ten singles, including the number one hit "Dakota" (2005). With approximately 10 million albums sold worldwide by 2016, Stereophonics are considered one of the most successful Welsh rock bands. Their album *Pull the Pin* solidified their legacy with five consecutive UK number one albums.
Known for their electrifying live performances, Stereophonics have headlined major UK and Ireland festivals, including Reading and Leeds in 2000, Glastonbury in 2002, and the Isle of Wight Festival in 2004 and 2009. They have also performed at other notable festivals like V Festival, Oxegen, Tramlines, TRNSMT, and Latitude. As a prominent act in the Cardiff music scene, Stereophonics continue to be celebrated for their enduring impact on rock music.
