      If you like Dancing with the Stars, you might have heard about Strictly Come Dancing. Strictly Come Dancing is a British dancing show that airs on public television platforms across the UK. The platform is used by celebrities and professional dancers to showcase their moves. A celebrity is paired with a dancer and are required to perform unique dances, usually based on Latin and ballroom dances. The show has racked up millions of views of the years, and its popularity seems to be on an upwards curve.

       

      Fans of Strictly Come Dancing can actually see the dances as they’re being performed and watch the show recording in real time. The first date for this event is on January 18th in the Arena Birmingham, followed by Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow, and Nottingham. The final performance for 2019 is to be held on February 10th in London, Great Britain.

       

      Strictly Come Dancing Background

       

      Strictly Come Dancing has been a popular daytime TV show since its first air on BBC in 2004. From then on, the dancers have become more skilled and the general setting of the show has improved. This same style of a dance show is seen across the world, from South Africa (which has its own version of the show with the same name), to the US, which follows a similar style along with a different name. The show has currently gone through 16 series and 235 episodes. There have also been related shows subsequent to Strictly Come Dancing, like Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.

      Jonathan Romesh Ranganathan is a British stand-up comedian and actor. He was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2013 Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

       

      Romesh has made numerous appearances on comedy panel shows, and in 2016 he co-presented It's Not Rocket Science on ITV, alongside Rachel Riley and Ben Miller. He is known for his deadpan comedy. 

       

      Romesh Ranganathan was formerly a regular panellist on The Apprentice: You're Fired!Play to the Whistle and The Museum of Curiosity. In 2016, he completed his first major tour, Irrational Live, in which he performed in large venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo. Ranganathan also joined A League of Their Own as a regular panellist in 2018, replacing Jack Whitehall. His autobiography is titled Straight Outta Crawley.

      Jeffrey Dunham is an American ventriloquist and stand-up comedian who has also appeared on numerous television shows, including Comedy Central Presents, Late Show with David LettermanThe Tonight Show and Sonny With a Chance

       

      Forbes ranked Dunham as the third highest-paid comedian in the United States behind Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock and reported that he was one of the highest-earning comics from June 2008 to June 2009, earning approximately $30 million during that period.

       

      Dunham also does occasional acting roles. He achieved the Guinness Book of World Records record for "Most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour" for his Spark of Insanity tour, performing in 386 venues worldwide.
