Seal, full name Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, is a British singer who has achieved global success. With over 20 million records sold worldwide, he is best known for his hit songs "Crazy" and "Killer", which topped charts in the UK. However, his most celebrated song is "Kiss from a Rose", released in 1994. Seal's soulful singing voice is instantly recognizable and has won him numerous awards throughout his career. He has received three Brit Awards, including Best British Male in 1992, as well as four Grammy Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. Seal is also an accomplished songwriter, having received two Ivor Novello Awards for Best Song Musically and Lyrically from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors for "Killer" (1990) and "Crazy" (1991).
