They got him on a contract, and although his first single wasn’t that popular, his second one shot through the roof. From then on, he scored big popularity points in Italy and around Europe.

      When an Italian artist held auditions for singers to make a demo of his song, Bocelli took the chance and was successful. His tape landed him a spot with the artist in the recording studio, and he actually went with him on his European tour. From then on, Bocelli’s popularity continued to rise.
