    • Elton John

      image

      Tele2 Arena, Stockholm, Sweden

      07 July 2023 (Friday) 20:00

Elton John is a man that needs no introduction. His work has surpassed the ranks as some of the most pivotal and beloved music of this time. Although he’s based in England, he’s recognized as a musical legend worldwide. He’s even received recognition from the Queen of England herself and had the honor of being knighted. It’s clear that Elton John has an army of fans ready to see him perform live, and they have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year.

Elton John announced that he’s going to retire from touring, so decided to go on an extended final farewell tour. His dates for 2019 start on January 11th in Boise, ID, followed by concerts in Portland Fresno, Denver, Brooklyn, Columbia, Amsterdam, Cardiff, and Madrid. Following a break, he starts up again in 2020 on October 10th in Paris, France. This leg of his tour also has many dates set up, with the last date being on December 16th in London, England.

      Elton John Background

Sir Elton Hercules John was born with the name Reginald Kenneth Dwight, which is equally as regal and refreshing as his stage name. He was born in Pinner, Middlesex, England in 1947 during the chilly days of March. John was always one with music and grew up surrounding himself with it his whole childhood. He has achieved such mastery that he was able to play a piece on the piano that he’d only heard once with perfection. He started off as a pianist in a local pub, then ended up joining a band. His career took off from there, and the music world has never been the same since.

      Elton John’s Greatest Hits

Trying to list all of John’s hits is a little overwhelming. But some of his greatest tunes are “Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word”, “Candle in the Wind”, “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”, “Rocket Man”, “Tiny Dancer”, “Your Song”, and “This Train Don’t Stop There Anymore”.
