Rammstein is a talented German rock band that began in the early 90s. Throughout the years, the bands members have stayed the same, and their success as a group has also remained constant. While their career took some time to take off, they began touring extensively once they got the word out about their music. The name of the band, Rammstein, translates as “ramming stone,” and is a fitting for the rock group. The six-member band is made up of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, drummer Christoph "Doom" Schneider, lead guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe, Christian "Flake" Lorenz as the keyboardist, Oliver "Ollie" Riedel on bass, and guitarist Paul H. Landers. The band was initially signed by Motor Records and began to gain traction in music. In the late 90s, they went on several tours, further increasing their popularity.

 

Though most of their music is in German, the band went on to create tracks in English, Russian, Spanish, and French. This led to international success for the group, which won them several awards for their live shows.

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Slipknot was founded in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, Joey Jordison (drums) & Paul Gray (base guitar).

The band rapidly rose to success following the release of their eponymous debut album in 1999. The 2001 follow-up album, Iowa, although darker in tone, made the band more popular. After a brief hiatus, Slipknot returned in 2004 with Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), before going on another hiatus and returning in 2008 with its fourth album, All Hope Is Gone, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

After another long hiatus, Slipknot released its fifth studio album, .5: The Gray Chapter, in 2014. Their sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind, was released on August 9, 2019. The band has released two live albums titled 9.0: Live and Day of the Gusano: Live in Mexico, a compilation album titled Antennas to Hell, and five live DVDs.

The Weeknd, is a stage name of Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, is a Canadian singer, songwriter & record producer.

In 2010, The Weeknd anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd" and released the mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence in 2011 which quickly gained him a following and recognition from several mainstream publications due to his dark wave-style of R&B and the mystique surrounding his identity.
