Helloween is a German power metal band founded in 1984 in Hamburg, West Germany by members of bands Iron Fist and Gentry. Its first line-up consisted of singer and rhythm guitarist Kai Hansen, bassist Markus Grosskopf, lead guitarist Michael Weikath, and drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg.

In 2016, Helloween announced that both Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske were rejoining Helloween for the Pumpkins United World Tour that would take place from October 2017 to December 2018. The tour ended up being the biggest one in the band's history as it comprised 69 shows and lasted for 14 months.

Since its inception, Helloween has released 15 studio albums, 3 live albums, 3 EPs, and twenty-seven singles, and has sold more than eight million records worldwide.
